China Launches Campaign to Improve People's Digital Skills

FUZHOU, July 23 (Xinhua) — A campaign aimed at improving digital literacy and skills of the general public was launched on Saturday in Fuzhou, capital of east China's Fujian Province.

The one-month-long event was announced during the opening ceremony of the 5th Digital China Summit.

A series of activities including forums, exhibitions, and lectures on digital skills and education will be organized during the campaign.

Co-sponsored by the Office of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Commission and a number of ministries, federations and institutions, the campaign will help boost the supply of digital resources and improve the digital education system.

The campaign will be held nationwide.
